GWO Advanced Rescue Training - 3 Days
Nacelle, Tower, and Basement Rescue: This module equips trainees with the skills to conduct rescue operations for injured individuals in wind turbine generator (WTG) nacelles, towers, and basements using standard industry rescue equipment, surpassing the GWO's Work at Height requirements.
Hub, Spinner, and Inside Blade Rescue: This module trains attendees to execute rescue operations within a WTG's hub, spinner, and internal blade areas, employing standard industry rescue gear and methods that exceed GWO's Working at Height standards.
Single Rescuer – Hub, Spinner, and Inside Blade: Participants will learn to perform advanced single rescuer operations in the WTG's hub, spinner, and internal blade areas using standard industry rescue equipment and methods, going beyond GWO's Working at Height expectations.
Single Rescuer – Nacelle, Tower, Basement: This module enables attendees to undertake advanced single rescuer operations in WTG nacelles, towers, and basements, utilising industry-standard rescue equipment and methods, exceeding the GWO Working at Height protocols.
Entry Requirements: Participants must hold valid GWO BST Working at Heights, First Aid, and Manual Handling certificates. They must also have a personal profile on WINDA and provide their WINDA ID before completing the training. Candidates need to be physically fit to finish all aspects of the training.
Certification: Upon successful completion, delegates will receive GWO Advanced Rescue Training certificates for:
Hub, Spinner, and Inside Blade Rescue (ART-H)
Nacelle, Tower, and Basement Rescue (ART-N)
Single Rescuer: Hub, Spinner, and Inside Blade Rescue (SART-H)
